Pre-school learners, accompanied by their teachers from Teacher D’s Learning Hub, visited the Ministry of Science and Technology to engage in real-life activities beneficial for their developmental years.

On February 7, 2024, they toured the Bangsamoro Standards and Halal Testing Laboratories (BSHTL), where they acquired knowledge and experience in using laboratory apparatus. Arbitrating by the looks of the learners, they thoroughly enjoyed the activity and were intrigued by scientific elements. They also witnessed the day-to-day tasks of the personnel.

The visitors also took the opportunity to visit the MOST Regional Office and the Office of the Minister. Minister Engr. Aida Silongan, MAPDS, welcomed them and expressed happiness at seeing the enthusiastic pre-school learners.

In a statement, Minister Silongan, expressed happiness for the learners being exposed to the world of science and technology at an early age.

“As the education landscape for learners is evolving, it is important to entice our learners, even at an early age, to be exposed to a knowledge-gaining environment that will develop their learning capabilities. It is crucial for them to boost their thinking ability and study performances,” Minister said.

The activity was part of the TDLH Pre-School Program, providing activities such as field trips, experimentation, role-playing, creative expression, and others aimed at bringing out the full potential of children and boosting their school performance.
