In a significant show of support and joy, the Ministry of Science and Technology actively participated in the kick-off parade for the 5th BARMM Founding Anniversary Celebration on January 21, 2024. The parade commenced at Sardonyx Plaza and proceeded towards the Bangsamoro Government Center.
Themed “A Journey Towards Mutual Understanding, Peaceful Co-existence, and a Shared Future in the Bangsamoro,” the celebration marks the 5th year since the establishment of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The ministry’s involvement underscores its commitment to the region’s progress and development.
Scheduled to extend from January 21 to 26, 2024, the anniversary celebration aims to foster a sense of unity and shared purpose among the Bangsamoro people. It also includes the ceremonial turnover of different projects from ministries and offices of the Bangsamoro Government, showcasing of culture and traditions, and various other activities.
Additionally, the ministry will also turn over several projects on January 23, 2024, as part of the celebration. On January 25, they will also take the lead in celebrating the 5th Bangsamoro Foundation Day in North Cotabato – Special Geographic Area, specifically in the Municipality of Pikit.
As the week-long festivities unfold, MOST continues to actively engage in events that promote harmony, collaboration, and the shared vision of a prosperous Bangsamoro.
