Mr. Francisco Gecosala, the BARMM representative in the Mindanao Cluster, won 1ST PLACE in the 2024 National Invention Contest and Exhibits (NICE) under the Utility Model Category held at the Grand Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, on July 18, 2024.
He will also have the opportunity to represent his invention “Turbo Rice Steamer” internationally and may receive recognition from the International Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Meanwhile, Mr. Al-Rhasid Panasang, also an inventor representative in the Mindanao Cluster, was a finalist in the Likha Category.
Winners also received cash prizes, trophies, and certificates.
