Taguig City, Philippines — To capacitate on Intellectual Property Protection, the Technology Application and Promotion Section (TAPS) personnel of the Ministry of Science and Technology attended the two-day training on “Basic IP Enforcement Training for DOST Personnel” on December 15-16, 2022 in this city.

Engr. Norhayla S. Magandia, MOST-TAPS Head, and Mr. Al-Rhasid Panasang, Science Research Specialist I, participated in the said training.

The training workshop is part of the DOST-TAPI’s training series under the DOST – Intellectual Property Management and Protection of Rights or Ownership against Violations and Encroachment (DOST-IMPROVE) Project. The series will include Basic, Intermediate, and Master Classes geared towards capacitating DOST regional offices, councils, and DOST Research and Development Institutes in IP protection enforcement.

MOST aims to pursue its goal of fostering science, technology, and innovation in the Bangsamoro region. It also intends to capacitate its personnel to deliver better S & T services for the people.
