In a significant move to assess the ministry’s performance in the previous year, 2023, the Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Science and Technology scheduled the Fiscal Year 2023 Year-end Performance Assessment and Evaluation Workshop from January 29 to 31, 2024.

Held at the Grand Summit Hotel in General Santos City, about eighty (80) MOST officials attended and participated in this crucial activity. The workshop aimed to review and evaluate the performance of each office, center, division, section, and unit of the ministry.

The regular assessment and review of program, project, and activity (PPA) implementations will help improve the performance and responsiveness of the ministry’s PPAs. It will also discuss specific actions to address and prioritize all the issues and concerns tackled.

The activity included presentations of each performance and accomplishment, reviews and critiques, and the provision of necessary measures and recommendations to enhance the implementation of PPAs in 2024.

With initiatives and efforts to uphold transparency, accountability, and responsibility, this activity will strengthen the ministry’s operations by learning from past issues and concerns, improving performance, and reinforcing best practices to achieve exemplary achievements and performances.
