Cotabato City, BARMM — Minister Aida Silongan of the Bangsamoro Science and Technology Ministry has led the turnover of different S & T projects during the celebration of the 4th Bangsamoro Foundation Day in front of the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM), Bangsamoro Government Center in this city on January 21-27, 2023.

Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Bangsamoro Director-General Abdulrakman Asim, and other MOST top officials also assisted in the turnover of MOST projects.

This year’s celebration has conveyed the theme, “Sama-SamangPagtataguyodsa Mas Mapayapa at Mas Masaganang Bangsamoro,” to unify one and all for a peaceful community and more inclusive economic progress in the region.

In the first day event, a parade was slated from Sardonyx Plaza to BGC. MOST showcases its float parade with a rocket design and astronauts.

As part of the Economic and Development Committee, the ministry turned over different projects on January 22, 2023, such as turnover of processingequipment, IDEVELOP projects under SDF, MOA signing of 2023 partner beneficiaries – Cotabato City and SGA, distribution of checks for Bangsamoro Assistance for Science Education (BASE) Grantees, Mujahideen Assistance for Science Education (MASE) Grantees, and Professional Assistance for Science Education (PASE) Grantees, and turnover of 76 RxBox Telemedicine Devices to Selected Rural Health Units in BARMM.

Furthermore, there will be service-oriented activities such as the distribution of projects from different ministries/offices, free medical consultation services, sports tournaments, food showcases, competitions, contests and many more for the week-long celebration.
