The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Science and Technology congratulates the 69 qualifiers out of 1,300 candidates in the Bangsamoro Region for qualifying in the 2024 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Programs: RA 7687 and Merit.

These passers are incoming college students who meet the requirements set by DOST-SEI and passed the qualifying examination. They must enroll in S&T priority courses.

Qualified scholars will benefit from the following:

  • A monthly stipend of ₱8,000
  • Tuition fee subsidies of up to ₱40,000 per academic year for students enrolled in private universities and colleges
  • Allowances for learning materials and/or connectivity
  • A one-time clothing allowance
  • One economy-class round trip per year for students studying outside their home provinces
  • A thesis allowance
  • A graduation allowance
  • Group accident insurance

This scholarship program aims to encourage youth across the nation to pursue degree programs in the S&T field, thereby contributing to enhancing the country’s global competitiveness and national progress.
