The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Science and Technology extends its heartfelt congratulations to the recipients of the 2023 Bangsamoro Assistance for Science Education (BASE) – fourth batch, and BASE-Merit – second batch. These outstanding individuals have successfully secured their positions as potential qualifiers, as announced on this official page on July 24, 2023.

A total of 311 official grantees have been selected to benefit from these scholarship programs, with 200 grantees for BASE and 111 for BASE-Merit. The grantees from Cotabato City, Maguindanao, and North Cotabato – SGA have completed the necessary contract signing process. Mainland city and province-based grantees are scheduled to take their oath during the upcoming Bangsamoro S & T Week on September 7, 2023. Meanwhile, island provincial grantees will have their contract signing and take their oath at the Provincial S & T Centers (PSTCs) on September 2023.

In addition, BASE grantees will receive a monthly cash assistance of P8,000.00, while BASE-Merit grantees will be provided with P20,000.00.
