The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry Science and Technology officially opens the application for the Bangsamoro Assistance for Science Education (BASE) and BASE-MERIT Program for the calendar year 2024.

The S & T ministry invites all incoming first-year college students in the Bangsamoro region to participate in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses, including highly specialized courses.

This program aims to stimulate and encourage Bangsamoro youth to pursue productive careers in science and technology throughout their lives. It also aims to ensure a steady, adequate supply of qualified S&T human resources, steering the region towards development and economic progress.

II. Application Process:

1. Download the BASE/BASE-Merit Form 2024, fill it out, then scan and convert it into PDF;

2. Go to https://bit.ly/E-BASE_BASEMERIT , upload the accomplished application form, including other required documents;

3. Print out the converted downloadable forms; and

4. Submit the hard copy of your documents to the nearest MOST Provincial office.

The deadline for submission of all pertinent documents and applications is March 15, 2024. The examination date will be from May 6 to 10, 2024.
