The BARMM Health Research and Development Consortium (BHRDC) successfully conducted its two-day Management Committee (ManCom) meeting and institutional visits on October 1-2, 2024, in Tawi-Tawi. The meeting reviewed and updated the approved activities for 2024, ensuring alignment with the region’s current health priorities.

As part of the visit, BHRDC engaged with member institutions, including the Mindanao State University – Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO), exploring mutual areas of interest and strengthening collaborative efforts in addressing health challenges within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.

These activities enhanced research capabilities and fostered stronger partnerships with local institutions, supporting the consortium’s commitment to addressing the region’s unique health concerns.
