Four (4) cooperatives and sole proprietors in the province of North Cotabato – SGA benefitted from the Ministry of Science and Technology’s conduct of VTT to recipients of the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Program. It was to inculcate good morals and principles inclined to moral governance. It promotes values orientation that will improve one’s function in the business organization by instilling moral character and discipline in all actions.

On March 1-16, 2023, the Provincial Science and Technology Center (PSTC) in the Bangsamoro’s SGA, headed by Fatima Kadil, Senior Science Research Specialist, and her team facilitated the training of four coops. Kapalawan Women’s Association with Native Chicken Kagikit Products, Integrated Bangsamoro Agricultural and Development Association (IBADA) with Coconut Vinegar Products, Pikit2 Catalyst Association with Peanut Butter Products, and Said Furniture Shop with Furniture Products were the beneficiaries of the said training.

The VTT was the first step to be acquired by the beneficiaries under the MOST Science and Technology Services’ TTCP, followed by other technology interventions and implementations in the coming months.

Furthermore, the training aimed to prepare these organizations for future engagements by upholding moral values in its practices for their betterment.
