Bangsamoro, Philippines — To upgrade the school’s laboratory facilities, the Ministry of Science and Technology turned over laboratory apparatus to identified fourteen (14) schools in the region.
From May to June 2022, MOST visited schools in Lanao del Sur, Basilan, and Sulu to award the laboratory apparatus.
The project aims to boost the knowledge and interest of senior high school students in science, particularly in conducting investigatory projects and student research. The project also encourages more students to take up a STEM strand curriculum.

MOST ensured that STEM schools in the region will be supported with S & T intervention to help students improve their knowledge and skills. It also strengthens the ministry’s goal of developing and producing S & T human resources for the Bangsamoro region.
