Cotabato City – Twenty-nine (29) employees from the Bangsamoro Science and Technology Ministry are undergoing the 5S Methodology in the Workplace Training Workshop on July 22-23, 2024, at the EM Manor Hotel and Convention Center in this city.
The two-day training will provide participants with knowledge of the concepts, principles, techniques, and practices for using effective tools to improve the workplace, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
“We should apply what we will learn in this training. We hope to incorporate it into our day-to-day activities,” Bangsamoro Director-General Engr. Abdulrakman Asim emphasized during his opening remarks.
5S is a methodology of organizing and managing the workspace and work flow with the intent to improve efficiency by eliminating waste, improving flow, and reducing process unreasonableness.
