The Ministry of Science and Technology is announcing the opening of CALL FOR MOST-BARMM R&D PROPOSALS for CY 2022 funding. It is a program under the BARMM Research and Development Agenda where researchers can submit researches/proposals in line with the priority areas such as Basic Research for Development, Agriculture, Aquatic, & Natural Resources; Health; Industry, Energy & Emerging Technology; Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation; and Culture & Heritage.

The program aims to address the pressing needs of the region in pursuit of scientific knowledge through research and development. It is a way to support researchers/researches in the region that will address the needs of the Bangsamoro people and their development.

To qualify in the program proposal, researches must align to MOST-BARMM Priority Research Agenda mentioned above, proposals that have an immediate impact for the Bangsamoro region, and must be feasible for six (6) months and can have a budgetary requirement for up to one million pesos (Php 1,000,000.00).

All proposals are subject to the screening and funding process under government laws.
