The Bangsamoro – Ministry of Science and Technology is now opening its 2023 Call for Proposals for CY 2024 Funding. Researchers are welcome to submit proposals aligned with the Harmonized BARMM R&D Agenda 2021-2025. It is to address the pressing needs of the region in pursuit of scientific knowledge and technological advancement through research and development.
Research Priority Sectors:
Priority level 1: – Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources – Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology – Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation
Priority level 2: – Basic Research for Development – Health
Priority level 3: – Culture and Heritage
Funding opportunities are open to budding, experienced, and veteran researchers alike!
Start-up Research: 800k maximum budget, 1-year maximum duration of implementation
Regular Research: 1.3M maximum budget, 1-year maximum duration of implementation
Multi-year Research: 3M maximum budget per year of implementation, 3 years maximum duration of implementation
