The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Science and Technology congratulates the representatives of the BARMM region in the recently concluded 2023 ClusterRice Mindanao Leg – Regional Invention Contests and Exhibits (RICE) in Cagayan de Oro City on October 4-5, 2023.

Here are the Bangsamoro winners and finalists:

1. Mr. Al-Rhasid Panasang, MOST Science Research Specialist I – First Prize Winner (Outstanding Creative Research – LIKHA) with an invention of “Boosting the Catch of Large Fish in Payao through the Propagation of Sound Waves”
2. Mr. Francisco Gecosala – First Prize Winner (Outstanding Utility Model – UNLAD) with an invention of “Turbo Rice Steamer” and Finalist with Creative Research – LIKHA on “Turbo Fryer with Thermosiphon”
3. Al-Anni Asgali – Finalist with Government-Funded Creative Research on “Renewable Electric Generator Powered by Sea Current”
4. Al-Anni Asgali – Finalist with Creative Research on “Healthy Coconut Oil”
5. Al-Anni Asgali and Alfradzkhan Manalas – Finalist with Creative Research on “Development of Organic Fertilizer from Coconut By-Product”
